Future Cougars: Beau (Class of 2026) and Blair (Class of 2028)

Katy’s Pre-Geneva journey started when her son, Beau, was just a baby. Five years of board service later—including three years as president—she still loves watching neighborhood kids grow up together and seeing early friendships turn into familiar faces at school and around the community. Katy lives in Belmont Addition with her family, including Beau and Blair. She’s also a proud Ohio State grad (Go Bucks!) and loves to sew when she can find the time—on a sewing machine that still takes floppy disks!

Future Cougars: Penelope (Class of 2027), Finn & Jude

A former educator turned stay-at-home mom, Emily appreciates the organic connections Pre-Geneva creates among families navigating the same stage of life. She lives in Lower Greenville with her children, Penelope, Finn and Jude, and loves getting to know other neighborhood families through events for both kids and parents. Emily grew up in Dallas and Phoenix before moving back to Dallas from New York City in 2019. She enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, taking walks with her kids and exploring the city.

Madi Ricci

Future Cougars: Elliott

For Dallas native Madi, East Dallas simply feels like home. After college and some time in the suburbs, she boomeranged back to the city and now lives in Belmont Addition with her 2-year-old, Elliott. Currently a full-time “Little-Human Handler,” Madi joined Pre-Geneva to build meaningful connections with the families she hopes to grow alongside for years to come—and to help create that same sense of community for the next generation.

Paige Sutton

Future Cougar: Lilian (Class of 2028) Jackson (2030)

When she’s not working as a Learning and Development Consultant or spending time with her children, Lillian and Jackson, Paige loves to travel—she’s visited six continents! Paige and her family call Lakewood Heights home, and she especially enjoys the fun events and friendships that come with being part of Pre-Geneva. For her, it’s a wonderful way to get to know more parents and families throughout the neighborhood.

Future Cougars: Merritt

Community and connection are at the heart of what Mariel loves about Pre-Geneva. She appreciates having a group of nearby families navigating the same chapter of life and the easy, meaningful friendships that come from it. Mariel works as a Transformation & Growth Lead at Intuit and lives in Belmont Addition with her family, including Merritt, who turns one this October—and four dogs! She loves traveling, trying new restaurants and, whenever possible, enjoying a good patio hang and glass of wine.

Future Cougars: Maya (Class of 2027), and Alena (Class of 2029)

My husband Pavle and I moved from Europe to Dallas in 2018 and instantly fell in love with the charm, warmth, and walkability of Lower Greenville. A year later, we put down roots in our historic Vickery Place home where we welcomed our two daughters in 2021 and 2023. We feel so lucky to raise our family in such a friendly, vibrant neighborhood where front porch waves, stroller walks, and familiar faces make every day feel special.

During the week, I work part-time for Academy 4, a nonprofit running a mentoring and leadership program at our feeder pattern's Lipscomb Elementary. After serving as Pre-Geneva’s VP of Social & Programming last year, I’m excited to step into the VP of Communications role. I love bringing people together, helping friendships bloom, and celebrating the beautiful sense of community that makes this neighborhood feel so much like home.

Future Cougars: Lyric (Class of 2029)

Music, movement and community are a few of Elizabeth’s favorite things! She works as a surgical assistant at Park Cities Perio and lives in the M Streets with her 3-year-old, Lyric. Elizabeth enjoys being part of Pre-Geneva because it gives parents and children an opportunity to come together, get involved and support one another. When she’s not working or spending time with family, she loves Pilates, dancing and even DJs for fun!

For Carolina, Pre-Geneva is all about creating meaningful friendships close to home. She loves that her daughter, Lia, gets to grow up alongside neighborhood friends while the parents build their own community, too. Carolina works in Human Resources for a tech company, while her husband, Mike, works in construction and development for a golf company. The family calls Belmont Addition home and loves traveling, staying active, exploring everything Dallas has to offer, and spending time with friends and other families in the community.

Our family moved to Dallas from California in 2022 and we feel so lucky to have found the Lower Greenville neighborhood and Geneva Heights community.

I am so excited about continuing to meet all the wonderful people in the neighborhood while building community for our future Cougars through playgroup connections. Feel free to connect with me on anything and everything and I look forward to serving on the board this year!

Founder and owner of GRIT Fitness, Brit is passionate about building strong communities both inside and outside the studio. Originally from Mesquite, Texas, she now calls Vickery Place home with her husband, Zach a Financial Advisor, and their children Osmond (Ozzy), Oakleigh and Axel, with baby girl #4 arriving this fall! Brit especially loves the lifelong friendships she has made in the neighborhood and the opportunity to pour into the local public school community and help it continue to grow and thrive.

My husband, Andrew, and I are East Dallas natives and DISD graduates, excited to watch our children carry on the family tradition as fourth-generation DISD students. We have strong ties to the neighborhood—my dad and his four sisters attended what is now Geneva Heights, and my grandmother even served as PTA President!

I’m a technology manager in the airline industry, and Andrew is a cinematographer. I’m thrilled to be serving on the Pre-Geneva Board for my second year, and love being a part of this amazing community.
